Padel is currently the fastest growing sport in The Netherlands. More and more people are discovering how much fun padel is. More and more padel courts are being built in public areas and at tennis clubs.
In the city of Amsterdam there are now several locations with padel courts and this number will grow in the future. Also in the Sportheldenbuurt on Zeeburgereiland two padel courts have been installed. To serve the users even better, the city of Amsterdam was the first to choose for our SportBox – XS padel.
A compact storage unit specially designed for padel, with room for four padel rackets and several balls. Optionally the SportBox – XS can be delivered on a stand, which is ideal in this situation. Anyone who wants to play padel can reserve padel rackets and balls via the SportBox app. So no one needs to be on location and during the opening hours of the padel courts the rackets and balls can be used. The box has been in use for a couple of weeks now and so far it is being used frequently.
What exactly is the SportBox?
The SportBox is a storage space for fitness and training materials that can be placed in different places. Users can register via an app and through an app & move concept users can open the box, reserve workouts and view exercises. SportBox is available in four versions; The original and light (dimensions w 1375 x d 840 x h 1250 mm) are equipped with sports materials of choice. With the SportBox – XS (dimensions w 572 x d 416 x h 452.5 mm) there is room for small or single materials. The SportBox – XS padel (same dimensions as the SportBox – XS) is specially designed for padel sports and suitable for storing padel rackets and balls.
In short, many possibilities and a great way for municipalities or associations to offer its residents or members at any time the possibility to play a variety of sports.
