Urban Sports Park / Freerun Parcours

The demand for complete exercise parks is increasing all the time, which is why we have included a new exercise concept in our delivery program with Urban Sport Park. Parkour (PK) is a running discipline where all kinds of obstacles have to be overcome and where all kinds of gymnastic techniques are practiced. The combination of freerunning, parkour disciplines and outdoor fitness (calisthenics) provides a varied range and a challenging sports environment for both youth and adults. In addition to an Urban Sport Park, we have also developed 3 parkour set-ups (Small, Medium and Large) for parkour disciplines and freerunning with different dimensions.

What is Freerunning / Parkour?

Freerunning and pakour have become increasingly popular in recent years. Not yet familiar with these fast-growing sports? Here you will find all the information you need about freerunning, parkour and the layout of a freerun park.

Freerunning and parkour can be explained as the overcoming of obstacles and hurdles. All kinds of techniques and tricks are used, such as the well-known somersault or the catleap and monkey.

When practising freerunning and parkour, you learn how to push your boundaries. Of course, it is also a physical sport, in which almost every muscle group is trained.

Want to buy a freerun parkour?

A freerun parkour is a playground for athletes who want to train in the fresh air without any restrictions. The sport was originally practised exclusively in the city. People jumped on, over and from all sorts of objects that were not intended for this purpose. The purchase of a freerun park with the right configuration, however, provides a safe and challenging environment for freerunners! In our opinion, the necessary freerun obstacles should not be missing during the set-up of an urban sports park.

Freerun can be perfectly combined with other urban sports such as calisthenics. In our preconfigured urban sports park, both calisthenics and parkour have enough space, equipment and obstacles so that both sports can be performed optimally.

Parkour is for young and old, beginners and advanced users

Thanks to our parkour configurations developed by specialists, every freerunner can train his or her techniques even better. Besides the added value in the area of sports, a freerun park is also an added value on a social level. This allows our urban sports parks to function as a meeting place for the youth, so they can enjoy sports together in the open air. The construction of a freerun park is also the way to let the urban culture flourish in the area.

Urban culture is characterised by meeting people from different backgrounds and stimulating each other in a positive way. All kinds of initiatives have therefore arisen from this new way of doing sports. Think of local instructors who help and support beginners by teaching them the basic techniques.

Want to buy Freerun obstacles?

Freerunning is becoming increasingly popular in the Netherlands and surrounding areas, which is partly reflected in the demand for our urban sports parks and free run park courses. On these freerun parkour courses, various obstacles are attached in order to offer a challenge to the user. These freerun obstacles include concrete elements with stainless steel bars. For extra challenge and variation in the freerun parkour, there are various bars that can be adjusted in height. In this way, the parkour also remains multifunctional for various running disciplines.
