What are the dimensions of a pole vault landing mat?
For competitions, the surface of the landing mat (behind the zero line and without the front pieces) must be at least 6 m long x 6 m wide x 0.8 m high. The sides of the landing mat closest to the plug-in box must be 0.10 m to 0.15 m from the plug-in box and must be slanted away from it at an angle of ± 45°.
How high are the standards for pole vaulting?
There are no restrictions on the length of the standards. We recommend pole vault uprights that can set the crossbar at a height of between 130 and 650 centimetres.
How can pole vault landing mats be protected against the weather and rodents?
For prolonged use, we advise to provide the landing mat with a rain cover and canopy. For accommodations with a lot of nuisance from rodents (rabbits) we advise a canopy with the option to lower it.
What requirements must a pole vault landing mat meet in order to play matches on it?
For competitions, the
