In addition to Leiden municipality and Amsterdam municipality, The Hague municipality has now also opted for a SportBox. The box has been placed in the southern district of The Hague, in a park with a multifunctional sports field and playground. The municipality has chosen to give only community sports coaches access to the box. They will be given the task of getting the various target groups in the neighbourhood moving in this way. The municipality also left the filling of the box with attributes to the community sports coaches, as they will have to work with it later. In consultation, the community sports coaches put together the contents of the box.
SportBox – original
The SportBox – original is equipped with drawers that can be pulled in and out to store training materials. In addition, the SportBox has a solar cell on top of the box, for charging/connecting via a USB port in the box, for a phone or music box.
